My name is Natalie Wolf and I am excited to be joining the Gilbert Heights community this year as Assistant Principal. This is my 23rd year in education. Prior to coming to Gilbert Height I worked in the Gresham Barlow School District teaching 4th and 5th grade for 15 years and worked for a year to develop school systems. I have also worked in schools in Rochester, Cleveland and the Bronx.
My role at Gilbert Heights is to support Mrs. Deems with the day to day running of the school, and working with students and staff to implement Restorative Practices. Restorative Practices is a framework for building and sustaining relationships between individuals and within a community. When issues develop between students we work to understand the challenges and repair relationships so students can get back to doing their most important work at school…learning.
I am grateful to be joining this amazing team at Gilbert Heights and partnering with you.
